Description

The Perseus/Taurus region is a fascinating area to explore for dark nebulae.  It is also somewhat "Caelum Incognita" as many of the complexes don't appear on the more popular sky maps.  However, they are ideally suited to a large(ish) wide-field telescope and an OSC such the Tak 180 f2.8 and ZWO2600MC at Roboscopes.   Here is the result of 5hours, taken end the end of a very dewy season.

This combination of dark clouds looks rather like some comic serpent, snaking it's way between the stars of Taurus.  The object probably goes in the category of "if is had a cool name, it might be photographed more often".
